I am a PhD student in the HCI Group at Hasso Plattner Institute working with Professor Patrick Baudisch. My research interest consists in Human Computer Interaction (HCI), focusing on personal fabrication.
I have been building various design projects to explore different materials and fabrication methods. I picked up woodworking and sewing skills among other fabrication skills through out the process. Those projects are showcased in my portfolio. Integrating my enthusiasm for technology and design has led to my research interest in personal fabrication.
Previously, I worked under the supervision of Professor Lung-pan Cheng and Professor Mike Y. Chen. Projects cover personal fabrication, shape display, tangible interaction, haptics, VR, and cybersickness. My undergraduate major in Computer Science & Information Engineering and minor in Mechanical Engineering have trained me in both areas, which is valuable for conducting my research.

Design and Make
I am passionate of designing and making a variety of things while exploring different materials and fabrication methods. Through this journey, I aquired knowledge on numerous techniques in fabrication, which is an amazing experience. Here is a display of some of the works though out my journey.
